The ‘Vikram Vedha’ actor was quoted saying by News18, “Honestly speaking, Adi called and said, ‘Things aren’t working out and we aren’t able to take the story forward with the original cast. Saif Ali Khan revealed how he replaced Abhishek Bachchan for the role of Bunty in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ during a conversation with media portal. However, according to several media reports, things aren’t going well between Abhishek Bachchan and Aditya Chopra, which led to Saif Ali Khan stepping into the ‘Bob Biswas’ actor’s shoe for ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’. Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji played the lead roles in the movie and won hearts as Bunty and Babli respectively. Starring Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh in the lead roles, this movie is the sequel of the 2005 film ‘Bunty Aur Babli’.
